Players harness strategy and quick decisions to predict, prepare for, and mitigate the impact of incoming wildlfires.

Prepare (3–5 minutes)

Players assess the map for fire risks and vulnerabilities. Allocate limited resources to homes, wildlife areas, and community assets. Decisions here set the stage for how well the community withstands the fire.

Act (4–6 minutes)

The wildfire ignites and spreads dynamically across the map. Players respond in real time: deploy firefighting teams, spread water with your chopper and save civilians. Each action has immediate consequences—saving lives, protecting assets, or risking greater loss. Time pressure and unpredictable fire behavior create urgency and tension.

Rebuild (3–4 minutes)

After the fire passes, players shift to recovery mode. Repair damaged infrastructure, restore habitats, and support displaced residents. Success is measured by how much of the community and environment is restored, and how well morale and preparedness improve for future threats.
